Adoptables

Shadow is a great girl that suffers from a bit of separation anxiety. However, she does well when she has a companion animal (a larger dog) to keep her company during the day when her humans are gone. If you are interested in adopting shadow please fill out an adoption application or call 701-840-5047 for more information

Nike and Champ look like they have just been committed of a crime, but actually they just got their tummies full of supplemental milk, a little sponge bath, and are ready to cuddle up together for a nap! Nike and Champ are currently in a foster home and are doing great! They are currently gaining strength but will be up for adoption soon! If you are interested in Nike or Champ fill out a pre-adoption form or call 701-840-5047

If you're looking for the life of the party, Georgia is your gal! She's a sweet gal who loves to be around people. She is staying with a dog and a rabbit, and doesn't seem to mind either one of them! Georgia was found abandoned in a house and it looks like she "Overgroomed" herself so her belly is bald. But, that doesn't stop her from hamming it up and into your heart! Georgia is about 4 years old, fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Meet Cody! He is a 6 year old black lab that was recently surrendered to SVFA with Sadie and Sasha. He is great with kids and dogs, but should go to a home with cats or chickens. He is fixed, up-to-date with vaccinations and HomeAgain Microchipped

Artie & Baby are quite the team! They are mother and son and are a bonded pair. They love to hang out with anyone who will pay attention to them. When they came to SVFA they were being fostered separately and a little anxious being apart, but now that they're back together they are happy little dogs! Because they're a bonded pair, we are offering a discounted adoption fee so they can spend the rest of their lives together! Both are house trained, fixed, UTD on vaccinations and Microchipped

Penny is a sweet girl who is about a year and half old and LOVES everyone she meets!!! Currently her and her kittens are settling into their foster home however once the kittens are old enough, all will be up for adoption! Their foster home has indicated the kittens will be well socialized by the time they are ready to go to their forever homes!

Sasha is a 6 year old black lab with hip dysplasia. But, that doesn't stop this girl from LOVING to play in the water! It just means she cant run as much as many other labs her age. She is great with kids and dogs, but should not go to a home with cats and/or chickens. Sasha was surrendered with Cody and Sadie. She is UTD on vaccinations, fixed, and microchipped.
Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals works with four categories of animals on any given day. They are:
Lost: An owner contacts the organization letting us know that their pet has gone missing. We provide a posting on our website to help re-unit the owner and pet.

If you have lost an animal please send a picture, brief description of the missing pet, and contact information to info@svfanimals.org
-
Call 701-840-5047. We'll post it on our Facebook page. Be sure to also include your contact info so you can be reached if your pet is found!

It's also recommended to contact KOVC (701-845-1490), as they sometimes get calls, and to contact Barnes County Dispatch at 701-845-8181 so they can let Police know to keep an eye out when they're driving around.
-
And, don't forget to contact everyone to let them know when your furry friend is back home!
